The 32-year-old broke into Valve's offices and stole $ 40,000 worth of equipment
Shawn Shaputis, an American, has been a real outlaw for months. He is being charged with six different crimes, including burglary at Valve headquarters.
While some were trying to break into Area 51 Prohibition earlier this month, a 32-year-old from Washington made an equally risky burglary. Shawn Shaputis broke into Valve's headquarters, and it appears that he was not greeted by Portal Games foes because he was able to alienate $ 40,000 worth of equipment and games. He later tried to sell the equipment at a local GameStop store, and it was traced.
It is not known if he encountered any clue about Half-Life 3 during the robbery.
Shaputis was otherwise very active this summer in his criminal career. First, he was jailed for multiple robberies, then went out and then stole a FedEx delivery truck. How the guy is still at large is unclear to anyone.
