A trailer for Fortnite: Chapter 2 has leaked, and it confirms the main novelties of a new chapter of the popular battle royal game.
Fortnite is still a black hole at the time of writing this article and millions of players are eagerly awaiting the return of the game to a playful state. The moment is near - it is not known exactly when the game returns, but more and more information about the "new Fortnite", called Fortnite: Chapter 2, is emerging.
A trailer leaked that practically confirmed everything we needed to know about the new Fortnite chapter. As previously speculated, the biggest change will be in the folder. A brand new folder is waiting for us, and when we say a brand new folder it means all new locations that have nothing to do with the previous folder, purely to avoid confusion.
The new folder is also designed to provide some new activities for players. From now on, players will be able to swim, dive and fish, and new vehicles will include boats / speedboats.
Other innovations include hiding in certain objects (garbage cans, for example) and the possibility of carrying injured players on their backs. The promotion system will also be redesigned and experience will be gained through activities such as eliminating opponents, collecting materials and searching for objects. Three medals will be collected: battle, scavenger and survivor.
The trailer also heralds the introduction of a co-op emote move, and has been promised to play with the Battle Dog in the first season of Chapter 2 to receive a reward of 1,500 V-Bucks.
As these are quite big changes for Fortnite, expect a much larger update than usual. According to initial information, the new Fortnite will weigh about 9GB on consoles and 14GB on PC. The download is available now and the new season is expected to launch later in the day.
