Crusader Kings 2 has become free, invading nations

One of the most popular strategy games of the 21st century has just become free. It's time to remake history with Crusader Kings 2.

The 2012 Crusader Kings 2 just became free to play on Steam. If you don't already know, this is a very detailed grand strategy game where you intrigue and tailor the history of the European continent in the Middle Ages. It is one of the most popular PC strategies in the last decade with which you can expand the borders of Croatia in the way that no ruler in real history has succeeded.

Crusader Kings 2 became free on the occasion of the PDXCON convention, and it is somewhat unclear if it permanently switched to the free-to-play model. It looks like it is, but if you want to be sure, install it by October 20 at the latest and it will remain permanently in your Steam game collection. The free version does not contain any expansions (there are many for this game), but if you like something, the offer of additional content is also reduced by -50%.

Fans believe the move heralds the imminent announcement of Crusader Kings 3, which is really easy. Still, it has been seven years since the two.
