Play The Division 2 for free this weekend

Once again, you will be able to play The Division 2 for free between Thursday and Sunday.

If you got your tickets well this year and followed the HCL announcements, The Division 2 could have ended up in full for zero kunas. The game was free to try out for a good week this summer, and with Uplay + on PC, you could get it for a full month. But that's not all - The Division 2 will again be free to play from Thursday 17 October to Sunday 20 October 10. This applies to all versions of the game, both on PC and on consoles.

As we find out, with a free weekend, we are also facing significant reductions in the price of the game, at least for the console version. Currently the price of the game on the PlayStation Store is at a high 549 kunas, but in the UK and the US the price has been lowered to around twenty dollars / pound.

The reason why Ubisoft is giving away another free weekend for the first one is clear - a new piece of additional content for The Division 2 (subscribers only, admittedly) is arriving today, so this is an additional promotion. However, there is also a background story. Ghost Recon Breakpoint is not a hit that Ubisoft can boast. The Division 2, however, is their most successful game this year and is actually the best contender in the fight against other companies' fall hits.
