Song of Horror is coming out soon, a game where you never know what's around the corner

On Halloween comes a title that might be interesting in its non-linear approach to gameplay.

In addition to pumpkin-dotted areas in certain areas, the world is undergoing a significant transformation at the end of the tenth month and in its virtual form. The horror genre is gaining in popularity, and while the midgets of the grandmother dance in front of the fire and ride on their equally brooding brooms, the various horrors try to offer those who have lingered in front of the screen a reason to play among them. One of them is Song of Horror and it will do so by having artificial intelligence in it to adapt to the player.

What should it look like? The trick is that, for the most part, horror titles are often preset. Once they are played, then there is no need for them to come back, because what was terrible the first time was the second time expected. That's one of those downsides to linearity. In Song of Horror things will be different, here the detective hero will be chased by a character called The Presence, whose actions should be completely conditioned by the events on the screen. No transition of the game should be identical to the previous ones, because everything that happens at some point should be completely unique for that moment. Depending on how you play, The Presence should respond appropriately.

Although this is a rather large claim, unfortunately there is no further detail on it. It is known that death in the game will be permanent, but not final, because the main characters will be more, and after one dies, the detective role is taken by some of the remaining characters. Song of Horror will consist of five episodes, each of which will be placed in a different location. On October 31, two episodes are released: The Husher Mansion will be located in the country house of the same name, and Eerily Quiet in the antique shop.
