The new Batman game is reportedly called Arkham Legacy
If one guy who often hears rumors in the video game industry is to believe, Warner Bros' new game will be Batman: Arkham Legacy.
We have been waiting for the announcement of a new Batman game for a very long time. Although we have recently received some hints and confirmation of its existence, it is still unknown what kind of project the WB Games Montreal team is working on. However, even Batman failed to hide his secrets from a well-known and trusted insider nicknamed New_WabiSabi.
The same has now conveyed unconfirmed information that the new game is called Batman: Arkham Legacy and will allow players to play with the entire Wayne family, including Batman's son. That rumor has been rampant for many years, and Sabi says it's true after all.
Of course, we are dealing with unofficial information here, and it is also possible that these are just rumors, of which there may be nothing in the end. However, the insider in question has fairly good contacts and generally most of his knowledge is accurate in the end. Nintendo contacted him this year with the threat of suing him if he did not stop revealing announcements for the Direct program, so there may indeed be some truth behind this rumor.
As far as it's concerned, Arkham Legacy makes a lot of sense. We'll see how it builds on the story of previous games, but for Warner Bros. it makes sense to use Arkham in the name because it became their most successful Batman series of games.
