The end of the world happened, Fortnite shut down

No more Fortnite! That is, at least temporarily until a new folder comes in and replaces an old one that is completely tucked into the black hole.

Just imagine what the news would be if Epic Games raised money and completely extinguished a battle royale phenomenon called Fortnite. We are close to that, but only temporarily. Namely, after the end of the tenth season, Fortnite swallowed a black hole in the final event called “The End”.

It all started by dropping rockets from the portal at random locations on the map. Then a portal appeared, a meteor emerged from it, and the collision of the meteor with the map resulted in the creation of a black hole that pulled the entire map into itself, including the millions of players who attended the event.

What does this all mean and will Fortnite ever come back?

If you've been following the news last week, then you already know: Fortnite enters the so-called. Chapter 2, and the most significant change therein will be the introduction of a new folder, the first after even two years since the game is available. The game therefore expects a major update that weighs 5.3 gigabytes in the mobile version. A new chapter is anticipated to move in the present day.

Although the introduction of a new map would be big news in itself, this theatrical ending is surely a scourge at the end of a new form of narrative in story-less games, the form we have witnessed in the last year and a half. In this way, Epic Games has made the server shut down for the required maintenance a spectacle that is talked about and written on all sides.


Some users were even scared that Epic Games had wiped out all of their game advances (took money and ran away) and reported them to Sony as the owner of the PlayStation platform.
