Details of the new Nvidia Shield TV console have leaked

Nvidia is set to unveil a new model of its Shield console next Monday, but specifications for it have already leaked to the internet.

Earlier this year, information emerged that Nvidia was planning to launch a new model of its Shield console. It is likely that the new model will arrive by the end of the year, with an official launch expected on October 28, or next Monday. However, by some miracle, the new Shield has already gone on sale at Best Buy, probably by mistake.

A Reddit user named Bubba_Nosferatu shared the first specs of a new console called Shield TV Pro that retails for $ 200. The basis of the new model is, as expected, a new iteration of the Tegra X1 processor called Tegra X1 +.

The console still uses 3GB of storage and 16GB of storage, but with support for Bluetooth 5.0. In appearance, the console itself is identical to the 2017 model, but it's a new remote that now has multiple buttons, including a large Netflix launch button. The controller does not come with the Shield TV.

This only applies to the Pro model, but it doesn't seem to be the only Nvidia product. The standard Shield TV is cylindrical in shape and much smaller in size and costs US $ 150.
