A new Silent Hill game ... for casinos has been announced

Konami has again shamelessly tarnished its Silent Hill franchise by announcing another themed slot machine.

The once-famous Silent Hill series has been rotting for years, owned by the Japanese company Konami. It is far from worthy of death, and the proof of this is Konami's revival of this franchise in another "Pachinko" machine or casino machine. It's scary, but not in a good context, to just read about the fate of Silent Hill.

In short, Silent Hill's "recognizable heritage" in the form of characters and locations has once again become a betting ground in which gameplay boils down to gambling. In such games, Silent Hill is an interactive movie, with players having to pay every now and then to see the next scene.

As they say in Konami, this new 4K-style Silent Hill casino model was built to meet the players and maintenance costs, and is said to be the first glimpse of more such things coming from Konami, a company that once had top-notch series like such as Contra, Castlevania, and Metal Gear, and now there is something that makes players simply disgusted.
