NBA Live 20 canceled
The NBA 2K series will have no competition this year. Not that he had one before, but now EA Sports has officially killed his NBA Live
series.
Electronic Arts submitted a report to its investors yesterday, confirming that NBA Live 20 will not be released this year. More specifically, there will probably not be a game called NBA Live 20. As they say at EA Sports, they are preparing for the next NBA game an innovative direction focused on new ways that players can participate and connect with basketball. But this new design is not yet ready, so the team will “expand the vision” and deliver the game only in fiscal year 2021, which probably means next fall.
It has been confirmed that the game will also be available on the next generation of PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and this part could be the most interesting in the return of the NBA Live series. This is not the first time that EA Sports has taken a break for NBA Live - it has happened several times, so the series was not present in 2011, 2012 and 2016.
