The hardware requirements for the PC version of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order are not terrible, but it would be good if you had 32GB of working memory.
Electronic Arts has released hardware requirements for the PC version of the most graphically attractive Star Wars game to date. The good news is that you will also be able to launch Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on six-year-old hardware. But one item still stands out as something that is definitely not everyday in the PC hardware world.
Specifically, 32 gigabytes of working memory is recommended for comfortable playing of the new Star Wars game at maximum detail. This is four times more than what is used on current consoles. I don't remember if any game has claimed 32 gigabytes so far, but working memory is usually not a demanding item in today's games, so it's strange to see that Star Wars Jedi is an exception.
It may be a * typo *, but since Electronic Arts did not correct it even half a day after the request was made, we will assume that this is true. In any case, here are these famous requirements:
Minimum Padawan configuration
- CPU: Intel Core i3-3220 or AMD FX-6100
- GPU: GeForce GTX 650 or Radeon HD 7750
- RAM: 8 GB
- HDD: 55 GB
Recommended Jedi configuration
- CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K or AMD Ryzen 7 1700
- GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 or Radeon RX Vega 56
- RAM: 32 GB
- HDD: 55 GB
