Battlefield V - War in the Pacific is coming this month, you will be able to try it for free

The Battlefield 5 Pacific Chapter was given a release date. War in the Pacific portion of the game will be received on the last day of the tenth month.

The much-anticipated expansion of Battlefield 5, called War in the Pacific, will become available on all platforms as of October 31, and Electronic Arts has announced that it will be available for free to anyone interested early next month. The new free weekend for Battlefield 5 (and the freshman expansion) will run from November 1 to November 4, also on all platforms.

War in the Pacific brings two new factions: American and Japanese. Battles will be fought on two classic maps: Iwo Jima and Pacific Storm, while the third (Wake Island) will become available in the twelfth month. Of course, this would not be a Pacific conflict without a new weapon. There are four major ones that will be available upon release: M1 Garand, Type 99 Arisaka (recon), Type 100 SM (medic) and M1919A6 (support). It will also be possible to use the Japanese Saber, or Katana, which will be a Battle Pickup. The other weapon on the map will be the M2 flame launcher.

Vehicles and aircraft are also new. Americans get M4 Sherman tank, and Japanese like Type 97. In addition, there will be smaller but faster vehicles such as LVT, Ka-Mi, Dinghy, MB Jeep and Type 95. F4U Corsair with two will appear in the air variants and Japanese Zero Fighter, also in two versions (fighter, bomber).

Other additions include two new elite skins: Jack Culver and Keisuke Nakamura. As usual, the game will win prizes, with Jungle Carbine, Model 27, Epic Nighthawk outfit and others among the first.
