We have a pretty interesting week ahead with detective exploration, thieving adventures and active fitness.
DISCO ELYSIUM
October 15, 2019. PCIf you are looking for a deep and unpredictable story in RPG games then be sure to look out for Disco Elysium. Behind this strange name is a detective RPG where you solve a murder with a drunken character who has amnesia and doesn't know who he is. Different personalities appear in his psyche, and it is in them that the key to free access can be practiced in the dystopian city of Revachol.
It's up to the player to define what a cop wants to be, preferably through multiple different transitions - just keep in mind that this is a huge game with over a million lines of text to read and the average crossing takes about sixty hours.
Chernobyl
October 16, 2019. PCEh, if at least the Chernobyl power plant went through the early access phase ... we wouldn't have a survival adventure now called Chernobylite. The same comes to us this week on Steam as an early access title. This version will include three large locations, nine main story missions and 12 recurring side missions. In the early version, we will also be able to hire helpers, build a base and make war with human adversaries and Chernobyl mutants.
The main advantage of this Chernobyl adventure is that the creators of the game performed a 3D scan of the environment near Chernobyl. This allowed them to bring the abandoned area into play in a fairly realistic way. Of course, we should not expect a 1: 1 display of the Chernobyl zone from this game, but we expect the atmosphere to be quite affected. In addition, the main character is named Igor. It cannot be a coincidence.
LITTLE TOWN HERO
10/16/2019 SwitchWho would say that the creators of the Pokemon series before Sword & Shield would release a completely original game called Little Town Hero? The surprise is not really big when you look at the gameplay itself: you play with a boy who fights monsters, fighting on moves. Fortunately, we don't have to collect them all here, I guess we just chase everyone out of the city that nobody should leave. And we do not drive them with violence but… ideas. Sweet.
Plants Vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
10/18/2019 PC, PS4, XBOThere was a new clash between plants and zombies last month, but the war officially begins this month as Battle for Neighborville gets out of the trial phase and gets more content. Unlike the Garden Warfare series, there will be single player missions and multiplayer in this game. The game will be getting new maps every month, and already has a bunch of interesting classes to play in, including a ninja mushroom and a zombie disco.
RING FIT ADVENTURE
10/18/2019 SwitchVentilate your gaming chambers well, as the new Nintendo game might sweat you up. Ring Fit Adventure is a fitness game mixed with a fantastic RPG based on the new Switch Console add-on (the basic one on which Joy-Con controllers can be detached).
An unusual "controller" will require players to be active at all times, but the level of activity will be adjustable so that the game can be played by people of all ages. The Ring Fit Adventure package itself will cost a little more than the other games - 80 euros.
