Disco Elysium came out, all saying it was an amazing RPG

Disco Elysium might come as a surprise this year, a title awaited by fans of old-fashioned isometric RPGs without even knowing it.

Today came out Disco Elysium, an isometric RPG that has been talked about so far. Not by accident, because it was difficult at any time to determine exactly what he should represent. This was known: it was a title largely inspired by Planescape Torment, with a strong emphasis on textuality and storytelling, a long title that spans over fifty hours. But it's also a non-fantasy title, at least not in the way Planescape Torment was.

Revachol is a place where stereo views of archaic sailboats sail the surrounding sea, carriages can be seen on the streets, but discos are also rented at the same time, videotapes are borrowed, while police use technology more advanced than ours. The protagonist is a member of the police force, a detective who has found himself in the city to seemingly solve an unsolved murder case. But that's just an excuse, he's actually one of those hard-boiled detectives who, first and foremost, likes to drink more than they should and allow the night to carry them where he wants. Maybe just the hug of a passing girl, maybe a disco, maybe a mob meeting place, an abandoned warehouse, on the edge of town.

Many who have played it proclaim Disco Elysium simply an ingenious RPG, the true heir to Planescape: Torment - full of freedom, choice, interesting stories, but also humor. The current rating is on Metacritic 91.

There was also a short trailer to get you out, so you can get a sense of what the kids are up to. Unfortunately, he is not the best and does not provide some concluding picture, but if you are interested in at least a little - that is something.
