Thief and Assassin's Creed will receive an alternative in the form of a game called Winter Ember whose protagonist dresses in assassin fashion.
For some time, there have been complaints that Assassin's Creed is no longer what it used to be. As things stand, it seems that it will never be again, so it may be better to move on and look for something new. And something new could be a game called Winter Ember, which is irresistibly reminiscent of the cross between Assassin's Creed and Thief series.
Look out for this - the Victorian world, the protagonist wearing a hood and seeking revenge, a city under the tyranny of the cult, hiding in the shadows ... these are all Winter Ember motifs. This is an isometric adventure that may turn some away from the whole concept, but the promise is ambitious that the game will be a sandbox structure, meaning that for every problem there will be more possible solutions and paths to the final destination.
The main character will be named Arthur Artorias and he will be returning to the city of Anargal where he lost his family and wealth a long time ago. Any resemblance to Ezio is entirely coincidental. Arthur will fight religious fanatics called Greater Heaven, lurking out of the shadows.
His main weapon will be arrows, and he will use more than 30 different types of arrows, such as arrows with water bottles that extinguish the flames and create a wing of darkness for him. But as we see from the first pictures, the sword will also be used in case things go wrong and the character is spotted by the guards.
