As has been speculated, the Paradox Interactive team has announced the third part of the successful Crusader Kings series.
Now that Crusader Kings 2 has become free, it's time to replace it with a more advanced and slightly more modern sequel. Paradox Interactive has announced the Crusader Kings III, exclusively for PC. The game will be released in 2020 on Steam and as part of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service.
The third part will take place again in the Middle Ages and will focus on dynasties. Each dynasty will have unique characters and over time will be able to change its views on politics, religious beliefs and other attitudes. The map will be larger this time and will extend from India, across Scandinavia all the way to Central Africa.
The good news for new players is that part three will be a little easier for beginners. That is, the game will be no less challenging, it will offer more suggestions and direct players towards scenarios they may not have even counted on.
