Surviving the Aftermath, the spiritual sequel to Surviving Mars, has been announced

After a strategic survival by building a colony on the red planet, the next sequel to the Surviving series, by name, leads us to a sort of meteoric post-apocalyptic environment.

Hopefully, the game industry will not become the standard to announce a game announcement. Specifically, Paradox Interactive and Haemimont Games are preparing to continue Surviving Mars for next year, and for now, we only know the name of the next game in the series - Surviving the Aftermath. More information about the game itself will be available on October 19 when PDXCON 2019 takes place.

Otherwise for those who are not familiar with Surviving Mars, it is a strategic title in which through successful management the organization and prosperity of a colony on the red planet must be organized. The new title won't change the core of the game, but developers have new ideas they want to experiment with.

Nikhat Ali, chief producer for the new game, says: “With the surge of Surviving Mars this year, we knew we had something special and wanted to find new ways to use the gameplay mechanics of survival management. Surviving the Aftermath gives us the opportunity to experiment with these mechanics in new and interesting ways that we think our players will love. ”

We play Surviving the Aftermath next year on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the game soon to be available in Early Access on the Epic Games Store and through the Xbox Game Preview program. Also, as of October 10, Surviving Mars will be available for free download at the Epic Games Store to help you prepare for a sequel that may have something to do with space post-apocalypse due to meteor rain. And maybe not.
