NEW GAMES: This week we're playing John Wick and making enemies on the tarmac

The beginning of the tenth month brings us a new chapter of space opera in Destiny 2 and the return of Ubisoft's Ghost Recon series.

JOHN WICK HEX

Oct 8, 2019 PC

Probably no one expected us to play a game with John Wick this year, and that game would be a real-time strategy. But it will happen this week, exclusively on PC and exclusively on Epic Games Store. John Wick Hex will tell us the original story of a famous professional killer. Although the game is strategic, it will require players to think quickly and to be tactful. Ammunition is a very limited term here, and deciding when to change the batch will be crucial and have consequences for bloody action.

TRINE 4: THE NIGHTMARE PRINCE

October 8, 2019 PC, PS4, XBO, Switch

Famous puzzle platformer Trine returns to her two-dimensional gameplay and promises a never-ending three-player adventure. The wizard, knight and thief will fight Prince Selius nightmares this time. There will be no major gameplay updates, but this is also a good thing as the team plays safe after a disappointing three.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair

October 8, 2019 PC, PS4, XBO, Switch

In addition to Trine, Yooka-Laylee's perspective changes. The 2017 original was an ode to early 3D platformers, while this spin-off will shift to 2D gameplay and become a so-called sidescroller. Although at first glance it is a big change, the world of lizards and bats is still very colorful and contains various tonics that will modify the powers of the main characters as well as the appearance of the game itself.

THE BRADWELL CONSPIRACY

October 8, 2019 PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

It's strange that developers haven't used 3D printing technology so often. However, a game called The Bradwell Conspiracy is coming to correct it, so we will solve the puzzles using printed objects. The game takes place in an underground complex from which you must escape, and the only way to do this is to send other surviving characters photos of the environment you are in. The concept is intriguing, now it just remains to be seen what the performance is like.

Indivisible

October 8, 2019 PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

The makers of the successful Skullgirls Taboo bring us another hand-drawn cartoon title. Indivisible is a combination of 2D platformer and RPG with real-time combat. It puts us in the role of Aina's girl who strives to save the world from ruin, aided by various incarnations.

CONCRETE GENIE

Oct 9, 2019 PlayStation 4

In PlayStation 4, we will play the exclusive Concrete Genie in the role of Ash, who can revive the drawn creatures from his notebook, and with their help, we will fight the abusers who ripped pages from that notebook. Ash will try to revive the abandoned city of Densk with her drawing, which means that we will create animated graffiti on the walls and communicate with the benign spirits in the wall.

PINE

10/10/2019 PC, Switch

Pine could be a hidden hit this fall, maybe even 2019. It's an adventure that closely resembles Fable. It has an open world, fantastic creatures and one important difference - people in the world called Albamare are not the dominant species but are at the lower level of the food chain. The player will play the role of a character called Hue who will look for a new home for his tribe, and in addition to surviving himself, he will have to deal with trading and crafting.

DORAEMON STORY OF SEASONS

11/10/2019 PC, Switch

The Doraemon franchise has been popular in the Asian market for some time now. She was never available to us, but now she comes to us in a crossover with a simulation of the Story of Seasons farm life. You can expect the standard practice of farm life - taking care of farms, animals, etc. If you used to play the games of the Harvest Moon series, Story of Seasons is really just the same under a new name, and it is interesting that for the first time it will appear on a PC platform.

GRID

11/10/2019 PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

There is no Forza series this fall, and the next Need for Speed is still waiting. In the meantime, a new GRID, which will take us from Barcelona to Shanghai, will come in handy. The game will have 400 AI drivers with different driving styles, and if you scratch their paint off the car then they will get mad at you and you will become their mortal opponent and will swear revenge you will not see in the rearview mirror coming. Basically, we will be able to create driving rivals, and finally we will drive again with a full camera inside the car.
