The Rogue Company shooter became free to play

The new shooter of the Paladins creators is now in open beta testing, which means that all interested players can play it for free.

For two months, the Rogue Company shooter has been in closed testing for a fee, and as of yesterday, it has opened its doors to all interested players. So, Rogue Company can now be played for free on the PC (Epic Games Store) PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch console. The game contains microtransactions, but they are related exclusively to cosmetic items.

By entering the open beta, the game got a new map called Lockdown and an additional Rogue class in the character of Dahlia. This should be just the beginning for Rogue Company, but it remains to be seen how long the game will actually last in a crowded market. So far, they say it has been played by about two million players. If nothing else, it certainly has the advantage of having shared multiplayer and advanced among all available platforms.
