Destiny 2 can no longer be purchased on a PC

Destiny 2 is about to move from Battle.net to Steam, but until that happens, the game will be unavailable for purchase.

Big changes are being made to the Destiny 2 pier. The game will be transitioning to a free to play model this fall, and in the PC version it will be switching from Battle.net to Steam. As part of that migration, the game was further phased out, and in the case of the PC version, it applies to all releases, including collections and expansions. Consoles no longer sell the Destiny 2 basic package, but extensions and mainstream collections are sold, so new players can still access the game.

The PC version on Steam is only coming in tenth month, which means new PC players can't play Destiny 2 for a full month. Fortunately, anyone who has purchased the game before (or added it to their Battle.net profile for free) can still play the game by the end of the ninth month.

Before October 1, PC players must link their accounts in order to transfer game progress from Battle.net to Steam. If they don't, the Steam version will have to start from the beginning.
