NEW GAMES: We're flying to the moon this week and battling an army of drones

The beginning of the tenth month brings us a new chapter of space opera in Destiny 2 and the return of Ubisoft's Ghost Recon series.

CUBE WORLD

September 30, 2019. PC

Minecraft has grown to become one of the most popular games of all time in this decade. In its shadow, there remained a title called Cube World, which was announced back in 2011, and in the meantime, it lost all trace. However, Cube World has resurrected and is getting its full version today. We don't know if it's too late for her, but we'll find out.

Comparisons to Minecraft are inevitable because of the graphic style, but technically these are two completely different approaches - while Minecraft uses polygons in rendering, Cube World uses voxels. Gameplay, on the other hand, is not focused on construction, but is more similar to Zelda games in that you choose your class, explore the world (and dungeons), and gather resources for crafting equipment and supplies.

DESTINY 2: SHADOWKEEP / NEW LIGHT

10/1/2019 PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Destiny 2 is transitioning to a 10-month free-to-play model and will be playable on all platforms for free. The so-called New Light version comes with a fair amount of content, including the entire campaign, raids, strikes and all the extras launched by fall 2018.

Those planning to return to Destiny 2 are likely to do so because of a new expansion called Shadowkeep that pays off. Shadowkeep takes us to the moon for the first time since the original Destiny, and we will fight "nightmares" there. A full campaign, two new PvE Strike missions and two folders for PvP Crucible are waiting for us.

Big changes are coming to the armor system with the so-called Armor 2.0 with which there will be more modification and versatility in the use of armor. Artifacts from the Taken King expansion are also coming back, and new finishing moves are introduced that can be used by enemies to complete certain bonuses.

READYSET HEROES

10/1/2019 PC, PlayStation 4

ReadySet Heroes is a fusion dungeon crawler subgenre with arena multiplayer scroll. Up to four players race through the same dungeon, collecting as powerful equipment as possible, and when one reaches the end of the dungeon, the final showdown in the arena is triggered. They will play either individually or in teams, with two teams of two players each. Multiplayer will run online or locally in a four-player split-screen.

NEO CAB

3/10/2019 PC, Switch

Neo Cab is a futuristic adventure with an extraordinary story. The player takes on the role of Line, the last human driver in the city of Los Ojos. Her friends are gone, and she seeks to capture their trail by driving important and suspicious faces in her taxi. In doing so, the player must balance between the emotional state of the driver and her reputation - she must keep a good mark in order to have constant clients, but at the same time she must extract the truth from them.

GHOST RECON BREAKPOINT

4/10/2019 PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

You could have played Ghost Recon Breakpoint this past weekend in open beta, and we believe all interested players did. To those who have not done so, we can say that there are really no unknowns with Ubisoft. Expect a huge world, a rather superficial story with a fun dose of tact while playing on a proven team. Judging by what we have seen, Breakpoint will not go much beyond the formula already introduced by Wildlands, but will only upgrade it with some new features, such as rolling in the mud.
