One player crossed Resident Evil 4 without firing
These days, we've learned that Resident Evil 7 can be completed without using a long range weapon.
The image you see above comes from a player nicknamed Manekimoney who boasted on Reddit that he had crossed Resident Evil 4 with a targeting accuracy of 0%. At first this does not sound like something to praise - it would mean that a player in the crossing failed to hit any opponent. However, it is actually a crossing where long-range weapons are not used.
So Manekimoney crossed Resident Evil 4 using a knife and grenades, and it's a challenging endeavor to remember what kind of enemies one encounters in the game. Admittedly, it's a bit untrue to say that RE4 can be crossed without a long range weapon, because in certain parts of the game you have to use individual weapons (harpoon and rocket launcher), but as the example above shows, this does not go into the main precision statistics.
Unfortunately, the transition was not recorded, so we can't see what it looked like. The reason for this is likely that the transition involved a lot of dying (71 in total) and repetitions to make it easier for the various tricks to eliminate their opponents.
