This 6 × 6 map was removed from the game in the first month of 2020 and will soon come back in a slightly different release.
The Weekend Map arrives at PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in late 2018. It was covered with snow and could be sized between Sanhok and Erangel. Slavic names were everywhere, made in 6 × 6 format, and even had a Militia-branded Fica, but it was removed after a year and a month.
No one knew why until one player on Twitter sent a query to the PUBG community manager. This one told him that Weekend was removed because he did not like most players, but that he would return during the current sixth season. Now we finally get an idea of what kind of release it will record on its own return.
Hawkinz, the community manager mentioned, confirmed that the Weekends would have less snow and a train moving through the map. The famous Dino Park site will be larger and renamed Dinoland. Hawkinz states that the new-old map will not replace any of those in rotation during matchmaking.
The modified Weekends will be able to play on test servers starting Thursday and the ability to play will run through Sunday. However, there is a downside - it is said to be limited to PUBG Partners' custom matches.
PUBG Corp recently stated that they are working to fix a number of issues within the game. PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, meanwhile, has received Team Deathmatch mode, with 6.2 updates to the game.
