The third State of Play is scheduled for the same day as the media event for The Last of Us 2, so we can probably expect some new information for one of the most anticipated PS4 games.
Owners of the PlayStation 4 console could reserve about twenty minutes of time on September 24 from 10pm when a new episode of State of Play will air. As was the case in the previous two episodes, we can expect some announcement of a new game, fresh content from some of the games already announced, and maybe even info on release dates.
All we know is that we shouldn't expect any information about the next PlayStation console - because it won't be.
Interestingly, there will be a media event for The Last of Us Part II on the same date, so we believe that State of Play should feature something new related to the game. Maybe even a release date. In any case, one should not expect hills and valleys, but hopefully this will be a useful insight into how the PlayStation 4 will breathe before the new console arrives on the market.
