PUBG is getting a free version that will be able to run even smaller computers

The popular PUBG will get a release next month designed for smaller computers. The so-called PUBG Lite will be free to play.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds becomes free… to say the least. It is well known that many PC players emulate the mobile version of PUBG because it is 1) less demanding and 2) free. Now those who have not yet purchased PUBG will have a slightly better option called PUBG Lite.

PUBG Lite is derived from PUBG Project Thaia, a scalloped version designed for the weakest computers. This version was available in Asian Territory, later in Brazil, and from 10 October 2019 will be playable in Europe, including Croatia, BiH and Serbia.

Of course, graphically this version of the game will be inferior to the standard paid version. In terms of gameplay, it will be very similar, with a bunch of microtransactions and everything. Admittedly, all new stuff coming to PUBG will come first in the paid version, and only after that in PUBG Lite.
