Sid Meier's Civilization 6 will shine on other non-Nintendo consoles this fall.
News headline may be a little confusing - Civilization 6 has been available for a year now on the Nintendo Switch console ... how come Civilization 6 returns to consoles after 11 years? Well, Civilization 6 was the first Civilization on Nintendo's console, while Xbox and PlayStation had a separate Civilization Revolution game back in 2008, and now they'll finally get Civilization 6.
Sid Meier's Civilization 6 will be available in PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions starting November 22, 2019 for $ 50. Along with the game itself, two expansions (Rise and Fall, Gathering Storm) will be available immediately, but they will be sold separately for a price of 40 euros. The expansions will become available for the Nintendo Switch version on the same date and at the same price.
Just like the Switch version, Civilization 6 on other consoles will come with four additional DLCs that you don't get with the standard PC release. These are extensions that bring Polish civilization, the Vikings, Australia and the Persian and Macedonian civilizations. Buyers of PlayStation 4 editions will get another benefit with Nubian and Indonesian civilizations.
