League of Legends plays eight million players a day
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of League of Legends, Riot Games boasted that it is still the most popular PC game in the world.
Next month, the popular MOBA League of Legends will turn ten years old. Riot Games has prepared various celebrations for the occasion, which will start on October 15, and will include a look into the future of LoL. The game will enter the new decade of existence with a new logo, and you can see it in the image above. There are no major changes, but notice that the font is now less spiky than before. For comparison, here's what it looked like so far:
Riot also boasted that more than eight million players play their game a day. As they say, there is no such player army of the 10 most played games on Steam - together. Riot also claims that LoL is arguably the most played game on the PC platform, and they're probably right. However, the Chinese FPS Crossfire is somewhere with its 660 million registered players, or 8 million active players on a daily basis.
