FIFA 20 is out, but some fans are not happy and are publicly calling out EA Sports because of Career mode negligence.
FIFA 20 officially went on sale after the so-called early access that lasted a week. During this "trial phase" fans noticed a number of glitches and issues in Career mode and reported them to the Electronic Arts official forum. By mistake or deliberately, the topic with reported issues has been deleted, as the community manager says - automatically, due to spam filters.
In the meantime, a new topic has opened up, but the game community has become angry with Electronic Arts, and some in the forum have started sharing instructions to others about how to claim a refund for Fifa 20. Electronic Arts reportedly deleted those comments.
Meanwhile, on Twitter in the UK, over three thousand people have joined the campaign under the hashtag #FixCareerMode stating that Career mode in the game is broken. There are over twenty glitches mentioned that significantly affect the gaming experience.
For example, clubs collect a bunch of players after a while - eight goalkeepers each. The Champions League plays with the teams from the 2018/2019 season and in later seasons does not work at all. Young football players have the potential to grow even when they are in poor form, while football players with a 29+ age rating decline regardless of form.
There are also remarks made about major news releases this year in the form of press conferences where questions are constantly repeated and the player's answers do nothing. That all was done and that the fact that reporters would ask a boring match whenever the match ended draws, is generally shown, even if the match ended 5: 5.
EA Sports only said they would take the reported issues into account. When it will resolve them and whether they will at all, that remains to be seen. Maybe - a bargain?
