You can breathe a sigh, Death Stranding will not be delayed for 2020

Death Stranding has entered the gold phase of development and with that we received the last confirmation that it is really coming out at the end of this year.

Until a few months ago, no one was sure if we would play the new Hide Kojima game by the end of this year. Even when we got the release date for Death Stranding, November 8, it didn't seem like a rock-cut term to us. Both Sony Interactive Entertainment and Kojima itself have a tradition of delaying games, and 2020 is the promised year for gamers anyway.

But there will be no delay. The team at Kojima Productions boasted that Death Stranding was "gilded", which means the game is over and it's going to multiply. It also means that the team now has a month to work at a slightly slower pace on repairs and new things that will eventually be added through an update as the game comes out.
