As of now, tanks are running in Black Ops 4 as well

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 received an update that brought the series back in those days as players were able to drive tanks.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on PlayStation 4 has received a larger patch that includes, among other things, a new game mode for Blackout called Heavy Metal Heroes. It is the mode that emphasizes vehicle warfare, and apart from the standard motorcycles, ARAVs and ATVs (which have been jet-propelled and can also jump), tanks are also being driven here.

A tank is a vehicle that can accommodate two people, a driver and a machine gun, and whether it is expected to be strong remains to be seen. In other news, this patch has added two zombie-style weapons to Blackout, Savage Impaler and Winter's Fury, and lives on in the Black Market where various new shopping items have emerged. Whoever bought the season ticket also has access to a new map in Multiplayer mode, called Lair.

By default, those who play Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on non-PlayStation 4 platforms on a patch will wait longer, perhaps up to a month, as was known to be the case.
