You can now download free Destiny 2 for download

Destiny 2 will shine a "new light" early in the tenth month, and you can prepare for it in a timely manner right now.

With the coming of the tenth month, a few things change with the looter shooter shooter Destiny 2. First, the game's base becomes free and will now be called Destiny 2: New Light. Secondly, on PC, the game moves from Batte.net to Steam. And third, a new expansion called Shadowkeep arrives.

In addition to all these changes and novelties, the game will have to take a 24 hour break. It was announced that on September 30, Destiny 2 servers would not work on any version of the game or on any platform. However, if you are planning to play on a PC, the good news is that before October 1st you can prepare by downloading the game in advance, even in the F2P version. And you'll need to download it all and have an installation from Battle.net as the Steam version will require a brand new installation.

As for the content of the F2P version, it has been confirmed once again that New Light will feature all additions from the first year, including Red War, Curse of Osiris and Warmind campaigns. It has been confirmed that players will also be able to access activities such as Raids, Crucible, Gambit and Strikes / Nightfall Strikes. So, there will be boasting of content immediately after launch, and it won't stop there as the team announced new additions in the third year of the game's existence.
