Neighbors might think you have a small baby if you play Death Stranding

Don't be scared if you hear a baby cry as it comes from your controller when playing Death Stranding.

Death Stranding will be a very atypical game in which, among other things, we will determine whether the main character will pee or poop. One of the basic mechanics of the game will be taking care of the so-called Bridge baby that the main character carries with him in the incubator.

Specifically, Bridge Baby is used to detect BTs, invisible enemies that you cannot fight the classic way but should be avoided. And in order for Bridge Baby to function properly, you must occasionally pay her attention - humming her, swinging her, etc. The swing in the game is otherwise performed by swinging the controller itself.

An additional link between the controller and the baby will be that by default the baby will be voted from the controller, more specifically from the speaker on the controller itself. It will be able to be turned off and will not work if you play with the headset on, but it is nonetheless interesting and not too neglectful if you are surrounded by curious neighbors and a gossip board.

This is not the first time a game has used a controller to transmit audio. It's also no wonder that Hideo Kojima uses the specifics of the PlayStation console for an unusual thing. His "tricks" with Metal Gear Solid's Psycho Mantis were well known when he was reading memory card data and moving the controller using "telepathy."
