In the new Call of Duty, we will have to negotiate with the terrorists before the shoot

Quite expectedly, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be a game for an adult audience, and will contain some disturbing scenes.

It's no surprise that the upcoming shooter of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been given the M (Mature) label and will only be sold to an adult audience. But along with that tag came an explanation of what that age category deserved, and that explanation confirmed one element of gameplay that hasn't been talked about so far.

Specifically, in certain segments of the single-player campaign, the player will have to engage in a dialogue with the terrorists and choose what to tell them. The answers will affect the behavior of the terrorists so it is assumed that we will be offered at least one correct and one wrong answer. It was also confirmed that the choice of answer would be limited in time, ie we would have to decide quickly what our character would say.

The element of freedom of choice in Call of Duty games is not a big novelty. At Black Ops 2 seven years ago, we were able to choose routes in individual missions and indirectly influence the final outcome of the story.

As for Modern Warfare, we learned earlier that the game would be a bit controversial and brutal in depicting war casualties. It has been confirmed once again that in the game we will see civilian casualties, chemical weapons attacks, scenes of torture and the like.
