Logitech has acquired streaming company Streamlabs
Logitech's peripheral maker Logitech became the owner of the Streamlabs platform for as much as $ 89 million.
Logitech products are a common part of streaming equipment, and will have an additional link in the future. Specifically, Logitech acquired Streamlabs this week for $ 89 million, the software used by numerous streamers.
This has concluded a multi-year partnership between Logitech and Streamlabs, but future collaboration is just starting and the additional motivation for it will be a $ 29 million bonus in the event that Streamlabs continues to grow and attract even more users. Streamlabs said nothing is changing on their part - everything will continue to be free, as it has been so far.
On Logitech's part, you can expect their gaming and streaming hardware to come bundled with the Streamlabs client in the future when installing Logitech's G Hub.
