Fortnite is changing, it won't just shoot at other players anymore

Epic Games has said it will add bots in Fortnite's next season that will give players more chances to improve their gaming skills.

Starting next season, Fortnite will not only fight other players on the map, but also computer-controlled opponents, or bots. Specifically, if you've been playing Fortnite for a long time, then you probably won't meet bots, but if you're new and just started playing, the game will tie you into matches where bots will give you a little more chance to develop your playing skill.

The reason for the introduction of computer opponents is precisely because Epic Games does not want the game to connect beginners with seasoned players. Bots will therefore be added to give new players a more entertaining experience at first, and as they get better at playing, they will be less likely to see bots in their matches.

However, it is important to note that bots will not be present on competitive playlists.

As for the more experienced players, their game from version 10.40 will match players with similar skills using matchmaking. This change will be introduced gradually, by region, and will be monitored by Epic Games because it may not be liked by everyone.
