Wattam is out for the twelfth month of this year

Wattam was announced a few years ago, but it wasn't until this year's State of Play that its release date was set.

Wattam was talked about back in 2015, but it took four years to bring the game to a close. Last night's State of Play confirmed that Katamari Damacy's creator title on PlayStation 4 is finally coming out for the twelfth month of this year. In addition to the PlayStation, the game will also be playable on a PC, more specifically the Epic Games Store.

The game is more or less still known as before: it will accompany a mayor who seeks to reconnect with his friends, but in a humorous and idiosyncratic way characteristic of Keita Takahashi's games. Just look at the short accompanying video and see just some of the characters to get a general picture of what awaits you.

Although Wattam is colorful and cheerful and quite similar to Takahashi's previous titles, it should still be innovative. "My goal was to make a game I had never played before," commented the creator during the State of Play.
