Metro 2033 Redux is being shared free of charge at the Epic Games Store

This week, you can get two games for free at the Epic Games Store - one classic and one hit-and-miss experiment and a failed experiment.

After a great deal with up to six free Batman games, we're back to reality - Epic Games re-shares "only" two games. As it was announced, these games are Metro 2033 in the Redux edition and a simulator of everything called Everything. Both games can be added to the collection for free until 5pm next Thursday.

Metro 2033 has been distributed for free several times already, but not since it got its Redux release. In any case, today, nine years later, this is a very solid shooter. The weakest part is the series, but if you want the complete story of Artyom, you should not miss this part.

Everything is ... a pretty weird game that I honestly wouldn't recommend. It came out in 2017 and brought up an interesting concept - in principle. In this game you can control everything - from ants to a galaxy, and you have divine control over everything, so you can do things and beings, multiply them, resize them, etc. Admittedly, there is not much sense behind it all, but if you want to play something strange and experimental, you might like this. Who knows, maybe in combination with some opiates, this opens up a third eye or some transcendental view of existence.
