NEW GAMES: This week we are driving trucks and returning to 1993

The current Gamer Week will feature a mix of Japanese and American games with a variety of themes.

AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES

9/17/2019 PC, PlayStation 4, Switch

Detective stories combined with a science fiction plot are quite common these days. Recently we had Astral Chain so now with Japan comes AI: The Somnium Files. This is an adventure where we investigate serial killings in the middle of Tokyo by entering witnesses' memories and extracting the necessary information from them by solving mental blockages.

OVERLAND

9/19/2019 PC, PS4, XBO, Switch

There is something very appealing about driving a car through the wilderness and surviving day by day, and that's exactly what Overland rests on. However, the drive here is actually a side matter, this is a tactical game where we see action through cells, or points where we stop looking for resources: food, medicine, weapons and fuel.

TRUCK DRIVER

9/19/2019 PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Console trouble will finally come to an end as we will soon have a truck driving simulation on both the PlayStation and the Xbox. Unfortunately, Truck Driver will not be a Euro Truck Simulator 2, or a game at that level of simulation. They will not drive on real maps, nor on real trucks. However, we will have the opportunity to deal with the illegal transportation of cargo, under different weather conditions and grounds. And that's something.

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: LINK'S AWAKENING

9/20/2019 Switch

While we wait for the sequel to Breath of the Wild, this week we will be able to go back in time with a 1993 rework of Link's Awakening. In this Zelda adventure, a stormy storm will throw Link to Koholint Island, where, who would say, there are a number of dungeons and mazes to explore to gather better equipment. This will be a throwback to the classic 2D Zelda, but with modern and extremely cute graphics.

THE SOJOURN

9/20/2019 PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Fans of puzzle games and puzzles might enjoy an adventure called The Sojourn this week. It is a story of a spiritual journey through a mystical environment in which light and darkness constantly struggle to discover the nature of reality. From the game we get a strong vibe of the old Myst, and we can compare it with some newer blockbusters such as Witness and Talos Principle.

UNTITLED GOOSE GAME

9/20/2019 PC, PS4, XBO, Switch

There aren't many games in the market where we play the role of goose / goose. But this Thursday, just one is coming. The Untitled Goose Game is a kind of clutter simulator. One goose is terrorizing a quiet neighborhood by doing problems for the local community, and the good news is that it is through this chaos that fun for the player will manifest.

NI NO KUNI: WRATH OF THE WHITE WITCH REMASTERED

9/13/2019 PC, PlayStation 4

One of the most beautiful RPG games from the PlayStation 3 is finally coming to other platforms. Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch will appear in the remastered release for PC and PlayStation 4, while it will appear in the standard version on the Nintendo Switch console. This gorgeous visual style adventure similar to Studio Ghibli's works will tell us the story of a boy, Oliver, who goes to a parallel world to bring his mother back from the dead.

Bonus: FIFA 20

FIFA 20 will also be able to play this week, but only if you are subscribed to the EA / Origin Access service. The game will be fully playable for a total of ten hours starting on September 19. This applies to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions of the game, but not to the Nintendo Switch version.
