Humanity is a simulation of human behavior in mass, God forbid

The creators of Tetris Effect have unveiled their new game called Humanity, and it's not entirely clear to anyone what this is all about.

The THA studio that has so far made a modern version of tetris, called Tetris Effect, is a bit of a "strange plant". They say to themselves that they are not a video game company, but rather a group of engineers and designers dealing with architecture ... through video games. Next to such a description, it is no wonder that their next game came from observing an algorithm for bird instinctive behavior when flying in a flock.

But Humanity is not a game about birds, but about humanity, that is, humans. The idea behind it is that the player will observe a simulation of human behavior in a large group to broaden his perspective on the world around him and as an outside observer draw his own conclusion as to whether humanity is just a bunch of misery or can group mentality take us to some new heights.

We know in advance that the answer is one with a bunch of misery, but hey - an interesting experiment that can be experienced in virtual reality as well. But if you don't understand what we wrote at the moment (honestly, I'm not really into it), check out the first game trailer - then it won't be clear.

Humanity is currently PlayStation 4 exclusive and will play sometime during 2020.
