The creators of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare do not want to say directly how long a single-player campaign will last

The Infinity Ward team said there would be no surprise about the durability of the single-player campaign in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. However, they did not want to indicate the approximate duration.

Call of Duty last had a single-player campaign in 2017, and for some reason this seems like a distant past to us. The return of single-player to Modern Warfare is definitely one of the things that makes fans of the series happy and many are wondering if the Infinity Ward studio will do anything spectacular with it this time. According to Game Informer magazine, this potential spectacular will not exactly manifest itself in perpetuity, as there is no longer a campaign to expect here than those of the CoD series in recent years.

Infinity Ward says duration will vary - depending on what pace the player progresses through the game (duh!), But on average we can expect durability in the ranking of previous campaigns. This translates to a duration of six to seven hours. If you are skilled at stringing headshots, probably shorter than that.

Of course, a single-player campaign is only one of three parts of the CoD package. Most of the time will be spent in multiplayer, and besides, there will also be a Spec Ops cooperative mode. The latter will also have missions and is known to build on the story of the main campaign, so you can also view it as an extension of the campaign.
