Star Wars Jedi Knight games arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Switch

With the new Star Wars Jedi game coming this fall, fans will be able to recall the old hits of the Jedi Knight series on consoles.

The players calling for a reworking of the Star Wars Jedi Knight series have not yet come into their own, but Disney has at least given the green light to switch old PC games to current consoles. Specifically, the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles come with Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy. The first arrives on the 24th of this month, with the Jedi Academy in 2020.

These are quite rudimentary ports, not some remakes and remodeling. That part is a little disappointing, but it's good to know that nothing will go wrong with the games. It will have known multiplayer battles, and the Switch version will get movement controls.

Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy are often referred to as the best examples of Star Wars universe action games. In their time, they were extremely well received by both the audience and the critics.
