See what a Narcos game looks like in which Pablo Escobar is the narrator of the story

We have welcomed the first concrete rendering of gameplay from the upcoming game Narcos: Rise of the Cartels. If you were hoping for something spectacular at the series level, you might be left disappointed.

You are probably not aware of the fact that we are having a game this fall following the successful Netflix series Narcos. Curve Digital has therefore put together a new trailer for Narcos: Rise of the Cartels to make you aware of it. It is up to you to decide if you are interested in such a thing at all.

Namely, Narcos has a super interesting topic, but the first concrete account of the game confirms earlier fears that this could be a fairly low-budget project. The plane shows that Narcos: Rise of the Cartels is not present on the level of other games of this generation. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that we have a bad game, but the first impression is not the best.

The game will otherwise feature events from the first season of the series. Players will be able to follow the story on two sides, as a DEA agent and as a member of the cartel. The narrator in the game will be Pablo Escobar. The game genre will belong to turn based strategies and will mechanically have a similar performance to the games in the XCOM series.
