The former GameCube exclusive Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will soon become available on all current platforms in a remastered release.
Back in 2004, Nintendo exclusively reserved the Final Fantasy series spin-off game for the then-GameCube console. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles brought some fresh ideas and although not everyone liked it, the game was a success globally. Later sequels also remained true to Nintendo's platforms.
Fifteen years later, Square Enix announced that the Crystal Chronicles series is coming to other platforms. More specifically, the remaster of the first game is coming. The remastered release will be playable on PlayStation 4, Android, iOS and Nintendo Switch platforms from January 23, 2020.
