A professional gamer is accused of stealing electricity at an airport
Waiting for the flight is a very tedious process, and one professional player decided to shorten it by playing at the airport. But he did not know that there was no free electricity even with the old grandmother.
Earlier this week, Japan struck a typhoon called Faxai and caused air traffic interruptions in the wider Tokyo area. Almost 17,000 people are reportedly stuck at Narita Airport, located near Tokyo. Flights were canceled and the typhoon caused interruption and other traffic and it was almost impossible to reach taxis or trains.
Professional player Naoki “Moke” Nakayama, who earned his status by playing taboo, was one of the unlucky ones who got stuck at the airport. Young Nakayama decided it would be smart to connect to a power outlet and play which Street Fighter 5 game, thus reducing time. However, not everyone perceived his use of electricity positively and because of his actions became the target of a number of criticisms on his own account. He was resented by the fact that he connected to the electricity without a permit, but also prevented access to the fire extinguisher.
He was so harshly called out for his actions that he also posted an official apology via his Twitter profile. Moreover, he also sent an apology to the airport staff saying he would think deeply about his actions.
