Google Introduces Subscription for Android Apps - Google Play Pass

Google has confirmed that we will soon have an optional gaming subscription called Google Play Pass on mobile devices as well.

This has been talked about in the countryside for some time now and it's now officially official - Google will introduce a subscription for its Google Play Store. Fortunately, subscription will be optional, which means that you will still be accessing the store as you have before, but if you want to save and get access to apps you didn't even know you needed in your life - well, then Google Play Pass will be for you.

The final details of the subscription are still pending, but it is speculated that the subscription will cost about $ 5 a month, and will include premium apps, which are paid ones, or full versions of apps that have a premium segment. The subscription will cover multiple categories so games will be included in the applications.

Games will also be premium, which means that games you subscribe to will be devoid of annoying ads and you won't have to pay to unlock additional content. Admittedly, all of this has its limitations because the applications you receive as a subscription will not be available if your subscription is inactive.

Google Play Pass is otherwise an obvious answer to Apple Arcade, the iOS platform's subscription service that will launch this fall. Apple Arcade is based solely on games (and exclusive ones), so it will be interesting to see if Google Play Pass can match its offer in a competitive camp.
