Argonus and the Gods of Stone could be a game for hard-boiled adventurers

Argonus and the Gods of Stone is a first-person adventure set on an island in ancient Greece, with elements of fantasy and Greek mythology.

Argonus and the Gods of Stone is an adventure game largely anchored in the past. The venue is Ancient Greece, and the style is inspired by 70s-themed films. It is also a point 'n' click title with no risk of dying.

Argonus is a historian who travels as a passenger aboard Jason and Argonaut - Argu. The sailors hear the sirens at one point and break on the rocks, and Argonus finds himself on the shores of an unknown island, alive and unspoiled, but alone. When he realizes he is stranded, he decides to ask the gods to have mercy and bring him back home. But it's not that simple. To do this, they will first have to travel the island and complete some of their tasks and give them something in return.

Argonus and the Gods of Stone is a first-person game that looks a bit like the Myst series. The tasks, however, are designed in the form of puzzles, apparently not too difficult. The exploration of the island is a very important element. As death does not exist in the world of Argonus, curiosity cannot kill a cat, but on the contrary, it is a very desirable trait for players.

The game can be purchased on Steam where it costs € 15.
