It was also the day Rockstar revealed some more details about the PC version of its epic western, Red Dead Redemption 2. We know you are worried about whether you will be able to run the game on your PC, so we will immediately comment on the official requirements.
The good news is - they are not terrible! In addition, the game will run graphics with 2 GB of memory, and will be able to use the legendary Core i5-2500K. Just be aware that installing the game will take up 150 gigabytes, which means that you could download as much as you would if you bought the game in a digital release.
Here's a request for a PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2:
Configuration for minimum riding
- CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD FX-6300
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
- RAM: 8 GB
- HDD: 150 GB
- OS: Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (6.1.7601)
Configuration for comfortable riding

It is confirmed that the PC version of the game will support HDR, as will the console versions. Specific for the PC version will be greater environmental visibility in the distance (ie better draw distance), better ambient occlusion effects, better lighting, more reflections, higher shadow resolution, better grass and animal textures, and tree tessellation. The good news is that the launch game will support multi-monitor play and will not be locked at 60 frames per second.
As for the additional content, there are three new Bounty Hunter missions, two new Del Lobos gang headquarters, two new treasure maps, an additional "To The Ends of the Earth" mission that involves collecting plants. In addition, players will be able to use four new weapons: the M1899 pistol, the Evans Repeater, the High Roller and the Le Mat Revolvere. We will also be riding four new types of horses and will be able to pick up five new items with various effects.
