Ninja and other popular streamers are making their way to Hollywood, starring in comedy

The future comedy Free Guy will have numerous links to the video game world, and will include popular streamers / YouTubers.

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has written a book so far, led a New Year’s Eve in the middle of New York and ended up on the Times list of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. What else can he do without already being there?

The movie is called Free Guy and is a new comedy starring Ryan Reynolds. The movie is actually gaming-themed and follows the story of a guy who realizes he's an NPC, or a supporting character in an open-world video game called Free City. In addition to Reynolds, he will also star Joe Keery, Jodie Comer and Taika Waititi.

The ninja will appear in a smaller role in the film, so no Oscar nomination should be expected, at least not yet. Apart from him, several other streamers / YouTubers such as Jacksepticeye, Pokimane and LazarBeam will also receive the honor of appearing in the movie. The latter was particularly keen on the opportunity to star in a Hollywood movie, considering that he worked as a construction worker five years ago.
