It's finally revealed when a new look for Steam arrives

Valve has finally revealed all aspects of the new Steam interface design and will offer it to customers in the ninth month.

For at least two years, we've been hearing about how Steam's look is going to change, and that's never going to happen. But who's to say it will happen (unlike Half-Life 3) - September 17, 2019. Namely, from then on, the new Steam interface will be available in open beta to all interested users.

And what's new? Well, the new one is exactly the segment that raises the question “What’s new” and as part of this part Steam will highlight games that have received significant updates. Of course, games will appear based on algorithms, that is, the preferences and behavior of the user himself. So, Steam will try to let you know within your game library what it thinks you might be interested in. Here's what it will look like:

In addition, players will now be able to do game collections. For example, you want to create a collection of games that you play at night - you can drag and drop the game you want from your catalog and add it to your desired collection. These collections can then be pinned to different parts of the main page, so-called. Library Home. Here's what it looks like:

Furthermore, users will now be able to filter the games they own according to different parameters. For example, you can quickly get a list of all games that have co-op support. Or, you'll be able to list games by individual tags, such as only games where the main character is female.

There will be some more nice changes. For example, you will now be able to see what your contacts are doing in individual games. Eg. if they are waiting for a multiplayer match, then that activity will be displayed below their chat name.
