Lego and Super Mario will merge
Nintendo and Lego have announced their collaboration on the Super Mario franchise, but we still don't know if it has anything to do with games.
Today is Super Mario's day - because it's English-Mar-10, okay? Basically, Nintendo has announced a somewhat unexpected collaboration for the occasion. In fact, Mario will become a gamble in his first official collaboration with LEGO.
Exactly what the two companies are working on - a set of Lego dice or maybe a LEGO Super Mario video game - is not known for now. Nintendo just say something fun is being built.
Judging by the very similar recent announcement of a collaboration with Levi's that resulted in a Super Mario-themed clothing line, we're more likely to get a set of Lego dice than a new video game. Rumors suggest that the next Mario will be "paper" again - at least the one from Nintendo.
Admittedly, it would not be a precedent for a LEGO Mario game to be produced by WB Games since Ubisoft had something similar in 2017 when we played Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
